This is the most popular and well-known form of coaching. It's for you if you want time and headspace focused on you, to achieve a goal or overcome a challenge.
How does it work?
We’ll start by agreeing your goal and the amount of one-to-one time we’re going to focus on achieving it. How that time is then split is up to you.
We’ll work together over the phone, via video call or in person.
Some people feel that phone or video coaching can be the poor relation to face-to-face/in person coaching. Whilst it’s always great to meet people in person, both phone and video coaching can be just as effective (I know this from personal experience not just of coaching people but also from when I'm the coachee).
Phone and video have the added benefits of: being very cost effective due to lack of travel cost and travel time, offering more flexibility of timings, plus it means you can be based anywhere in the world, as many of my clients are!
For some reason, many coaches are set on monthly, one-hour sessions. This doesn’t make sense to me. What if you want to achieve your goal in a shorter time-frame? Or need sessions to be longer or shorter, depending on the challenge?
If, for example, you want a session to be two hours, to really dig into the challenge, that’s fine with me. Equally, if you find you’re making good progress but just want to check in with me on a couple of actions, we can have a 30-minute call.
I'll ask questions and use tools to help you develop solutions and actions tailored to you.
You need to be committed, the action you take between coaching sessions is even more important than what happens within them.

Personal assessment tools are a great addition to coaching packages.
They are online questionnaires which will help increase your understanding of yourself and others. The more you understand yourself and how you interact with people, the more you’ll achieve and with greater ease.
