Peer Coaching Groups

Unfortunately, there are still people out there who think coaching is ‘just a chat’ and something that ‘anyone can do’.  Whilst we all have coaching skills, there’s no substitute for a qualified, experienced coach when you're grappling with a meaty challenge.

This said, you don’t need a qualified coach for some of the smaller workplace challenges you face on a day-to-day basis.

For these smaller challenges, you and your peers can be excellent coaches for each other.

With some initial support and guidance from me, you can set up your own peer coaching groups (with colleagues, or peers in other organisations).

How does it work?

Step One, you identify the 3 - 5 people who'll form your peer coaching group.

Step Two, I’ll:

  • help you understand how to structure a coaching session

  • give you some useful questions and tools to start you off

  • observe you and provide feedback on your coaching style

Step Three, I'll provide a check-in after your first session for any queries

Please note:  This isn’t a full coach training programme (I can recommend organisations who do this, if that’s what you are looking for). This is a short support and guidance programme to help you use peer coaching for smaller challenges, which can supplement coaching with a qualified coach.
